Two Gloucestershire businesses rewarded at FSB business awards

Two great small businesses in this area emerged as regional winners in our annual FSB World Pay awards.

Hundreds of enthusiastic FSB members and other small businesses took part in the awards which culminated in May with the finals night at London's Globe Theatre which saw 11 different national winners claim £2,000 cash prizes.

Although we didn't have any national winners in this region this year, there was still regional success for Gloucester’s Kingfisher Treasure Seekers, who won the community award for the South West area, and the multi award-winning Home Leisure Direct from South Gloucestershire who won the online category yet again.

Among the national winners this year were a Durham business offering hens for hire and a Welsh company providing leisure activities in an abandoned slate mine and all were  honoured at the national final which was hosted by entrepreneur Tim Campbell MBE, the first winner of BBC’s The Apprentice.

FSB is looking to host more awards events in the future so keep your eyes on our local communications such as our Bitesize weekly email for full details.
