Tees Valley Business Compass is the one-stop shop for business support and funding to help businesses based in Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesborough, Stockton or Redcar & Cleveland. Strongly supported by the Tees Valley Mayor, Ben Houchen, they love helping Tees Valley businesses grow.
They provide a range of different events to engage with local businesses and share their expert knowledge on how SMEs can grow their business. They provide support for businesses looking for funding towards growth projects, if your requirement is for less than £25k they offer a fast-track service to help you access your required funds and get on with growing your business.
These capital grants can be used to expand or diversify your business, larger sums have been made available to other businesses to support their ambitions, often through the use of consultancy support.
TVBC can offer specific support by the way of broadband vouchers enabling the installation and upgrading of networks to help businesses grow. There are also innovation vouchers to boost research & development, one firm received £11k towards a £33.6k project to develop a new customer interface. They are also keen for businesses to reduce their carbon footprint, saving costs at the same time, through their energy project voucher scheme.
They’ve already helped many different businesses across the region to realise their ambitions including several FSB Members, why not get in touch (@Tees_Compass or 01642 939386) to discuss how they can help your business.
