Paul Scully MP for Sutton and Cheam took time out of his very busy schedule to meet with local FSB member business owners at the very popular Sutton Sports Village. It goes without saying that Brexit was high on the discussion list and in particular the recent reporting on Gibraltar being a possible bargaining chip.
However, Paul made it very clear that any future increase in exporting no matter how small helps our trade deficit. Attending the meeting was Bryan Treherne from the very successful and popular South London Export Club and it was agreed that Bryan would launch a similar club for small businesses in the boundaries of Paul’s Constituency to drive home the benefits of exporting, “we need to clarify that exporting does not only refer to products and goods but services as well” said the MP.
Watch out for further details.
