Start up offers a festive incentive to reach their audience

A local start up is offering prizes of vouchers to spend at a local pub in return for completing a short survey. Husband and wife team, Richard and Sarah Tennant, are responding to local calls for a rural coworking space aimed at improving the working life of professionals and small businesses in their local area. They have been researching the level of demand for a space in the area around Goudhurst, Marden, Horsmonden, Brenchley and Lamberhurst.

“Already our research has shown many business professionals see the advantages of blending working from home with working in an office for part of their working week” said Sarah. “We think there is demand for a space offering hot-desking, private meeting rooms and dedicated offices for small businesses. A place where professionals can network, share ideas or simply get more done than they might from home. We think that doing this close to people’s homes, in this beautiful area in which we’ve all chosen to live, makes perfect sense.”

The survey can be found by following this link. Every respondent has a chance to win one of three vouchers for £100 to spend at The Goudhurst Inn. “We chose a local pub rather than the usual Amazon or M&S vouchers because we want our space to be all about local businesses working together” said Richard.  The survey closes on 30 November.

Richard and Sarah are also keen to speak to small businesses who might be interested in renting dedicated offices or to landowners who might be interesting in partnering up.
