FSB members from Oldham who started up three years ago from their own homes celebrated their move in to their own offices in July with a drinks reception and BBQ bash for friends and customers.
Ruth Wyers and business partner Gemma Voaden started asbestos detection and removal firm, All Survey, in 2014. Having started from home moved to offices in Manchester at the NatWest’s Entrepreneurial Spark incubator in Spinningfield’s as orders came in.
On July 27, the pair threw open the doors of their new offices in Oldham town centre, on Rhodes Street, where they employ four staff and frequently host a number of consultants. Guest of honour on the day was Mayor of Oldham, Cllr Shadab Qumer, who enjoyed a tour of the premises, including the new onsite lab where the company tests for the presence of asbestos.
The business mostly works in the commercial sector, but their catchphrase if ‘no job too big, no job too small’. “We count some big names among our customers, including Marriot Hotels, but we’re more than happy to work with Mrs Jones down the road if need be,” said Gemma.
