A new monthly Federation of Small Businesses networking event has successfully taken place in Nottingham.
FSB Connect Nottingham will now take place on the third Friday of every month in Chilwell, Nottingham at Synergy NG9 – a creative & wellbeing hub.
Every FSB Connect will provide ample opportunity for networking as well as an interesting talk from a speaker.
The first Nottingham event saw a presentation from Inspector Graham Chapman, of Nottinghamshire Police and his colleague Kirsty Jackson on Cybercrime and how to protect yourself from identity fraud and financial theft.
The attendees came from a diverse small business background including legal, security and IT sectors.
Paul Swift, FSB member and Managing Director of Synergy NG9, said: “This was a great start and I am grateful to our guests from Nottinghamshire Police who really hit home on how important it is to stay safe online.
“I am delighted to host the FSB Connect events as it brings local small business people together for networking and the opportunity to work together on projects of mutual benefit.
“If you are local to Nottingham I would urge you to come along to a future event – we promise to have an array of excellent speakers over the coming months.”
The next Connect event will take place on February 15th with it always open to both FSB members and non-members.
Tickets are £5 with refreshments included – if you would like to book on a future event please email [email protected]
