Seena Shah is no stranger to hard work, so it was probably inevitable that she would establish her own digital marketing agency. Her career started in recruitment working in German markets, enjoying the digital communications aspect of her career which led to her transferring to the City of London to start at the bottom to learn her chosen industry in digital, ending up as a campaign manager working with a number of big brands. Here Seena developed her love for tech and learnt how to code and use digital technologies.
Seena was listed by The Drum as one of the Top 50 under 30 Women in Digital in 2015 and established her business shortly afterwards.
In July 2016 Seena rebranded her business and Splash Creative was born, and since then she has quadrupled the turnover of her business, working with luxury international brands, universities and small ambitious companies. Seena says that she particularly likes to work with ambitious SMEs as she feels that her support can really make an impact on their success.Splash Creative continues to grow and Seena has taken on an intern and plans to employ a team in her business in the future. She likes the idea of training young people and would consider taking on an apprentice, possible even a higher level apprentice.
Seena is rightly proud of her business, and says that rebranding in 2016 was a gamechanger, prompting her to take on office space in London, planning to have grown the business ten times over the next two years, and would take on someone to drive sales, increase capacity and handle more retained clients.
On her FSB membership, Seena thinks that FSBConnect networking offers better value for money than other offerings, good speakers and the ability to attend networking meetings anywhere in the UK. It enables members to collaborate with each other- even competing businesses.
Seena is very keen to work with FSB on a Women in Business Networking opportunity based in Chelmsford that would bring together business women who want to grow their business with a programme of speakers offering critical advice and insight into how to grow your business. Seena wants people to arrive with the idea to grow their business in some way, collaborate and help each other. FSB Women in Business Networking in Chelmsford is due to launch in late September 2017.
