Now in it’s 11th Year these FSB organised Awards are practically an institution in their own right. With Policy/Stakeholder officials from across Hampshire, Isle of Wight and West Surrey anxious to find out where their local Authorities rank in being friendly towards small businesses and an address from Martin McTague FSB Policy and Advocacy Director a sit down lunch was served in the glorious setting of woodland in the New Forest.
This year’s overall winner was Portsmouth City Council and a trophy was graciously received by their Economic Development Officer, Kim Pellett who has worked with FSB for a number of years and was instrumental in establishing the partnership back in the day when Kim held the same position at Chichester District Council, West Sussex.
Pictured is Debbie Whitcombe with Ken Muschamp (Deputy Leader and FSB member) from Rushmoor Borough Council who vowed to do better next year. It was a great afternoon of celebration with decision makers seated wherever you looked.
