Lincolnshire businesses offered growth advisors to help them reach their potential

Businesses located in Greater Lincolnshire are being offered their very own personal business growth advisor to help them reach their ambitions and bring their growth plans to life.

The Business Inspiration programme, set up by Bishop Grosseteste University and funded by the ‘European Regional Development Fund’ is offering skilled business advisors to work with a range of businesses across Lincolnshire and Northern Lincolnshire. The team is based at the LORIC premises in Lincoln but usually travel out to the business to carry out the review diagnostics.

Businesses can also access specialist grants to help fund their growth plans. Many businesses have already accessed funding to help pay for consultancy for activities such as product development and testing, website development and design and e-commerce.

The programme also offers a second funding option in the form of a Graduate Internship grant, designed to help pay the wage of a graduate intern.

Grahame Killey, Project Manager for the Business Inspiration programme said; “Business Inspiration is a fantastic way for local businesses to both help themselves grow and also to help grow the local economy. We are excited to offer such a unique and tailored service to small businesses across Greater Lincolnshire.”

To be eligible for the Business Inspiration programme, businesses must be based in Greater Lincolnshire, have fewer than 250 employees, a turnover of less than or equal to €50million or a balance sheet value with a total of less than or equal to €43million. They must also be able to demonstrate their intention to grow or improve. Due to the bespoke nature of the support, the programme is only available to a limited number of small businesses, therefore early enquiries are advised.
