The event is one of the first to be held in the Welcome Building, a brand new business conference centre in Devonshire Park, Eastbourne. “FSB is pleased to be supporting this event in East Sussex, the first of its kind here, following on from the success of similar events in Brighton and Hove and West Sussex,” said FSB Development Manager, Martin Searle.

FSB Sussex Area Leader, Jim Cunliffe, who employs apprentices at his firm, Face Media Group, will also be in attendance. Jim is also an Apprentice Ambassador in the south east and said, “It is great to see our National Chairman, Mike Cherry coming to Eastbourne to support this important event. It shows FSB’s commitment to the skills agenda for business and the need in current times to find people locally and grow talent to support our businesses.”
The event also includes a business reception prior to the main event at 5 o’clock. “We urge East Sussex businesses to attend to support apprenticeships, to network and find out more about how to take on an apprentice and fire up your firm,” added FSB’s Martin Searle.
