Gravesham Council want to hear from you

All levels of local Government are working in a very challenging funding environment at a time when demand is rising and core funding is diminishing.

Local authorities will have some tough decisions to make regarding their future services.

Chris Inwood, Principal Economic Development Officer at Gravesham Borough Council says, “The council is very keen that local businesses and support organisations have the opportunity to have their views heard within the councils Corporate Plan 2019-2023 consultation.”

“Although many business owners may not be residents of the Borough, Gravesham Borough Council recognises the important part they play within the local economy by employing local people and providing services, leisure pursuits and products.

“If you value the business support services the Council provides for local businesses such as the Gravesham Business Network, please make your voices heard through this consultation.”

The process is very quick and should not take more than 5 minutes of your time.

As a little incentive, there is the opportunity to enter a £100 high street gift voucher prize draw.

The consultation and some background information can be accessed here:

All responses received by 24 January 2019 will be taken into consideration as the Council starts planning future services.
