The FSB remains committed to supporting major local business shows as a way of being at the heart of business activity and the Gloucestershire and West of England area is in the midst of being actively involved in five of them over the spring/early summer period. .
The series kicked off on Wednesday, April 18, when we helped to organise (and exhibited at) the Forest of Dean Enterprise Fair – the biggest business-to-business event on the calendar in the Forest.
Attention has now switched to Wednesday May 16, when the FSB team will be supporting, and exhibiting at, two huge events in the South West.
Bristol Membership Advisor Dave Battrick will join West of England Area Lead Ken Simpson at the massive South West Business Showcase in Bristol which is expected to attract 5,000 people. And, also on the same day (and the day after it), Gloucestershire Membership Advisor Mark Whittle will join FSB Development Manager Sam Holliday manning a stand at the Gloucestershire Business Show which takes place at the Cheltenham Racecourse.
In June, local businesses should also look out for the South Gloucestershire Expo on Wednesday, June 6, we are helping to promote and then the ‘Grow Gloucestershire Show’ on Wednesday, June 20 at the University of Gloucestershire.
Gloucestershire Area Lead Russell Warner and local National Councillor Terry Lockwood are helping to organise that one and Mark Whittle and Sam Holliday will again be looking after the FSB stand (they are pictured here doing so in a previous year).
All of these are free-to-enter shows are for businesses throughout and Gloucestershire and West of England (and beyond) and all aim to provide support and network opportunities for you and your business – just as the FSB does!
