Full Speed Ahead for Networking at FSB Expo on 12 October

The FSB Small Business Expo on 12 October is set to get off to a quick start with local businesses snapping up the free tickets for the six speed networking sessions running on the day over two months ahead of the event.

On 12 October FSB is holding its first ever Small Business Expo at Wivenhoe House Hotel in the grounds of Essex University, and tickets are selling fast already. On the day will be six speed networking sessions run by local businesswomen Louise Stephens of Marketing Fox, Jenny Sjollema of PA Angels and Lizzie Cheeld of Lizzie Cheeld Creative Admin.

Jenny Sjollema said, “I’m really pleased to be supporting FSB with its Expo and speed networking and I’m looking forward to the day. Tickets are selling fast so book before you go on holiday so that you don’t miss out on this great opportunity to network with other local business owners.”

Sessions start at 10:30am and run every hour until 3:30pm. Each session has space for 20 people and everyone in the room has the opportunity to deliver their 1 minute pitch to everyone else and some time at the end of each session to develop those connections and opportunities further.

Lizzie Cheeld said, “Speed networking is fast paced, exciting and can yield great results in a short time so book your free ticket now and take up this great opportunity to meet new people and hone your skills. And don’t worry if you’re new to speed networking- it’s always a friendly environment and a great place to learn so make sure you bring plenty of business cards!”
