FSB Wales took part in another successful Small Business Saturday on 7th December, supporting smaller firms across the country.
Individuals, including many politicians across the country, took the £10 Pledge – a promise to spend at least £10 with a small business on Small Business Saturday and to post about it on social media in order to help spread awareness about the fantastic small businesses across Wales.
FSB also hosted an event with politicians and businesses at First Call Coffee in Swansea, which was an opportunity to celebrate and raise awareness of small businesses in the region, as well as highlight the issues faced by smaller firms.
Commenting on Small Business Saturday, Rob Basini, FSB South Wales Development Manager, said; “Small Business Saturday is always a fantastic opportunity to support our small businesses and raise awareness of the crucial role that they play in our local communities, and to our national economy.
“I was thrilled to see so many people taking the #10Pledge this weekend and supporting small businesses in the run up to Christmas. I would urge everyone to think about how they can continue to back small businesses, not just on Small Business Saturday but throughout the year.”
