A hundred Highland business owners and their guests will get to see Inverness Caledonian Thistle play Ayr United on Small Business Saturday (7th December 2019), thanks to a new partnership between the Club and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).

The Inverness club recently joined the small business campaign group, and to celebrate the deal it is giving 100 pairs of tickets free to FSB members to enable them to each watch its next home game with a guest.

Announcing the move, Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s chief executive Scot Gardiner, said, “Inverness is the Highland capital and I want my Club to be at the heart of the Highland community. Since I arrived in the spring I have been really keen to re-engage with local businesses, and FSB membership provides us with a great mechanism for doing so. I have been very impressed by what I’ve seen of the FSB, both locally and nationally, and I look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.

“To celebrate, we are making 100 pairs of tickets available free to FSB members for our home match against Ayr United on Saturday, 7th December. Each FSB member can claim a pair of tickets, so they can invite a client, friend or family member to join them. Not only that, but we will draw out two names and the lucky winners and their guests will be given “money-can’t-buy” Boardroom Hospitality tickets.  It will be a great day, made all the greater when we beat Ayr!”

Welcoming the Club on board, FSB Highlands & Islands Development Manager David Richardson, said, “We have long felt that football clubs can benefit enormously from membership of the FSB and we are delighted that Inverness Caledonian Thistle has joined. There are many ways in which local businesses can also reap the rewards from this relationship, and we are very much looking forward to working with Scot and his team.

“Obviously, the very generous offer of free tickets to the Ayr game is very welcome, not least because it falls on Small Business Saturday, a day for us all to celebrate the many small businesses that lie at the heart of our communities. We hope that members will seize the opportunity to pick this ball up and run with it all the way to the goal line.”
