FSB returns to Norwich for Business Expo

Small businesses from across East Anglia have come together to showcase their products and services at the FSB’s second annual Small Business Expo.

The event saw around 30 local members exhibiting at The Forum in the centre of Norwich.

Various business support organisations also participated in the event, with the FSB’s own stand attended by Norfolk Chair David Howell, Development Manager Andrew Mower and Membership Advisor Diane Burgess.

Meanwhile, a series of business seminars were run throughout the day in the auditorium at the venue. Regional Chair Salena Dawson introduced the event, and FSB members presented on a range of topics such as winning business on LinkedIn, and developing an effective exit strategy.

A representative of Norwich City Council gave a presentation on local authorities’ procurement processes.

Development Manager Andrew Mower said: “The Expo was a great opportunity to highlight to the local community the diversity of small businesses in this region, and plenty of new contacts were made on the day.

“The team will look again at giving members more such opportunities in the new year.”
