FSB members meet Bury St Edmunds MP

Small business owners in Bury St Edmunds were given the opportunity to meet their local MP at an event organised by the Federation of Small Businesses.

The roundtable meeting with Jo Churchill MP took place at Ravenwood Hall, and was chaired by FSB East Anglia Lead Mike Drain.

The discussion covered a range of topics, including FSB’s key campaigning priorities in the region: infrastructure and skills.

Jo outlined the campaigning work that she was undertaking in these areas, and noted that improving broadband was a particular priority.

The implications of Brexit for the local small business community were also discussed.

FSB has organised further roundtables with Sandy Martin MP and Richard Bacon MP, and is encouraging local members to attend.
