Broadband and connectivity, infrastructure and Garden Communities were just a few of the hot topics discussed at a roundtable meeting organised by the Federation of Small Business with Saffron Walden MP, Kemi Badenoch.
The meeting which was held at Saffron Walden Golf Club saw an array of local businesses raise key issues affecting their business. Regional Chair David Barnes, led the discussion and spoke about recent FSB campaigns, highlighting the plight of businesses on the high street and the ongoing burden of late payments.
Kemi Badenoch MP spoke about the progress that had been made in improving broadband in the constituency and the positive changes for business that are on the horizon thanks to the Garden Communities project.
Attendees at the meeting highlighted the need for more commercial space. The growing number of potholes and the deteriorating state of local roads and parking were also topics raised at the meeting.
