FSB London business, The Phoenix Artist Club, has made it on to this year’s Small Biz 100 list.
The business is one of 20 enterprising FSB members chosen to be part of the annual initiative that promotes the chosen firms in the 100 days running up to Small Business Saturday- this year held on 2 December.
FSB is very proud of the businesses chosen to be involved with Small Business Saturday, which highlights the successes of the small business community.
The Phoenix Artist Club has been serving the theatrical and creative industries and theatre going public for over 30 years and employs 20 people largely drawn from a musical theatre background.
Ken Wright, Owner of the Phoenix said: “We are thrilled to have been chosen as one of the Small Biz 100, it’s incredibly important to keep small, independent venues in the public eye and this gives us great exposure and publicity.”
Steve Warwick, FSB London Regional Chair, Federation of Small Businesses, said: “Congratulations to all the small businesses included on this year’s Small Biz 100 list. I want to pay special attention to Ken Wright and his team at the Phoenix Artist Club in Camden who are one of the Small Biz 100 for 2017.
“We are especially proud to have so many of our members selected for the scheme, which does a fantastic job of highlighting the diverse range of businesses working hard across the UK.
“Small Business Saturday is a great opportunity to celebrate the successes of the 5.5 million small firms and self-employed in the UK and show consumers why they should be supported all year round.
“The campaign, now in its fifth year, has gone from strength to strength and once again we are encouraging everyone to get behind small firms in their communities to make the day bigger and better than ever.”
A massive £717 million was spent with small businesses during the 2016 event- a 15 per cent increase from the previous year.
