The bi-monthly Connect meeting at the town’s Apex venue has been so popular that FSB decided to run the latest event despite it coinciding with the summer holidays.
Around 25 local business owners – including FSB members and non-members – attended, and plenty of new business contacts were made.
The meeting was hosted by Penny Morgan, FSB’s Area Lead in East Anglia, who spoke to attendees about the FSB’s campaigning work locally and the opportunities for members to become involved in policy and training activities.
Further presentations at the meeting were given by Heloise Finch-Boyer of Sell Beyond, and Tony Brown of Motiv8 Learning & Development.
The next FSB Connect event in Bury St Edmunds is scheduled for Tuesday 8 October, and tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite.
Anyone who would like more information about future meetings, or would like to speak at one of the events on a topic of interest to small businesses, can email [email protected].
