With thanks to Ulster Bank Boost, FSB Northern Ireland was delighted to launch our new networking proposition, FSB Connect, in Ballymena Business Centre at the end of May.
FSB Connect is a UK wide offering from FSB, which is free to join and entitles attendees to participate in networking events, receive updates on FSB’s work and participate in our survey panel work. The main aim is to provide opportunities for small businesses to do business with each other, and to encourage non-members to get more involved in our ongoing work to enhance the environment in which our members operate.
Commenting on the first FSB Connect event, Development Manager Mairaid McMahon said: “The best part of my job is supporting small business owners to seize new opportunities and find new ways to develop, and having been part of an FSB Connect event which saw several first-time networkers go from cautious participation, to confidently pitching to a busy room, was remarkable.
The feedback we received was universally positive, and I’m confident that FSB Connect Ballymena will become the must-attend networking event in the north east. As Ulster Bank Boost aims to connect small businesses to the right people and resources to help them reach their true potential, it is a great fit with our FSB Connect programme.” For more information on the roll out of FSB Connect in your area, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
