Free staff training on offer in West of England

FSB members in Bristol, Bath and South Gloucestershire who employ staff have been offered the opportunity to have free training for their employees in a £4 million scheme run by the West of England Combined Authority.

The 'Future Bright' scheme offers eligible businesses the chance to work with a team who will identify their skills and training needs, provide personal career coaching and offer training opportunities for employees. They will also be able to help develop the firm's HR processes at the same time.

The scheme has been set up to help deal with the growing problem many small businesses in the West of England area – and beyond - face with retaining and developing good employees at a time when UK unemployment is at an historic low. It aims to help businesses improve their productivity, reduce staff turnover and make small businesses more of an attractive option for would-be employees.

Registration is now open so if you are in the West of England and are interested in finding out more then just visit www.futurebright.org.uk
