Lincolnshire Business Expo 2019 took place at Lincolnshire Showground and this year attracted record numbers of visitors. Additionally, there were over 130 exhibitors and guest speakers making this the premier event of its kind in the local calendar. It was an all-day event with networking starting as early as 8.00am.
FSB Lincolnshire was in attendance with an exhibition trade stand providing membership information and advice and discussing membership benefits with delegates and the other exhibitors. Brochures and FSB merchandising were given out and business cards collected.

The FSB team consisted of Policy Chairman Neil Sharpley, Membership Adviser Colin Picken and Development Manager David Thorpe (Pictured). Networking by the team created twenty leads for new member sign up appointments. That represents an excellent outcome and should keep the Membership Adviser busy for the next few days!
Our Development Manager also took the opportunity to visit all of the other exhibition stands held by businesses to explain the benefits and the process for entering the East Midlands element of ‘FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards 2019’. Owners and managers were encouraged to enter their businesses but to do it before the deadline of 1 February 2019. Hopefully, the number of entries will increase substantially before the end of the month.
The event was also an effective way of enhancing the FSB profile with Lincolnshire businesses and organisations and a great way of catching up with some of our existing partners and stakeholders.
Next year’s event will be on Wednesday 15 January 2020 and will be free to enter for delegates.
