Doncaster launches Young Entrepreneur Network

Launchpad Mentoring, a Sheffield City Region initiative to support, grow and develop local businesses, has launched a Young Entrepreneur Network.

Pre-start businesses and businesses that have been trading for two years or less in the Sheffield City Region are eligible for free mentoring through the Launchpad programme. The brand new exclusive Young Entrepreneur Network provides an opportunity for existing or budding entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 40 to join like-minded people and businesses.

Irshad Akbar, Business Mentoring Manager at Launchpad said: “This group plans to meet regularly throughout the year, offering a chance to find out more about the support available, share experiences and overcome potential barriers to growth.

“We recognised that young entrepreneurs often find themselves missing out on opportunities for business owners to meet others. We’ll use the network to showcase the support available through Launchpad’s peer mentoring programme, which we hope will help young business owners to support each other as their business ideas grow, develop and evolve.”

The Young Entrepreneur Network events is free to attend. For further information contact the Launchpad Mentoring team on 01302 736062.
