Wednesday 28 November saw more than 120 business people attend the Ashford Business Awards at the Ashford International Hotel. The Awards which celebrate and reward businesses in a number of different award categories are run by Best Business Events with their partners the IoD, fsb and Heart with the support of platinum sponsors Agilis Mobile and gold sponsor Girlings.

Agilis Mobile Customer Services Director, Tina George, who also sat on the judging panel, said: “Whether it’s being recognised for customer service, creativity or success as a start-up. What I saw and heard when judging the Ashford Business Awards was the passion these individuals have for their business. So much so that this year we presented the Start Up award to two businesses DC Breathe and Hypo Hound, two outstanding businesses. Winning this award will give them both the recognition they deserve.”

David Redgate, Partner at Girlings Solicitors said: “The Business Awards Kent showcase the talent of the county’s businesses and Girlings is delighted to be the Gold Sponsor for 2018 – 2019. The Ashford Business Awards was a tremendous success and it was an honour to present the award for the Hospitality Category and also to celebrate the achievements of all the businesses that took part across all the other categories. If you are a successful, fast growing Kent business and haven’t yet taken part in the awards, I would strongly encourage you to do so.”
