Black House Creative, a design and marketing agency, has recently opened new offices in Pateley Bridge. Originally established in 2009 in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland took the decision last year to expand for growth and opened their second office in Pateley Bridge.
Husband and wife team Richard & Paula have steadily grown the business, developing a strong client base North of the Border, across the UK and internationally in Hong Kong, Beijing and New York. They have an eclectic mix of clients and a passion for food and drink, specialising in this area.
Black House Creative have recently been awarded two prizes in the Muse Creative Awards. A Gold Award for packaging and a Rose Gold Award for branding following work with the Isle of Skye Paint Company and Wotto Otto (images pictured). Managing Partner Paula Chyzy commented, “I would like to thank all the team concerned on both projects”, “to say we are pleased is a massive understatement”.
The Muse Creative Awards are an international competition for creative professionals who inspire through concept, writing or design. Entries are judged by 47 judges representing 19 different nations. 2016 saw over 1500 entries submitted by 35 different countries around the world.
Blackhouse Creative are no stranger to winning awards, earlier last year they received from the Energy Isles Project. This work, alongside the Islands Housing Agency (Tighean Innse Gall) raised the awareness to 300 tourism businesses across the Outer Hebrides of reducing their carbon footprint.
Following their expansion Black House Creative are keen to engage with other local businesses and become very much part of their new community. While they have retained offices in Inverness to support their Highlands & Islands clients they are keen to develop strong relationships within North Yorkshire.
