KCC Trading Standards will be offering training sessions based on the EU programme ‘Consumer Law Ready’.
Susan Harvey, Commercial Operations Manager at Kent County Council says; “Our aim is to help SMEs understand consumer rights law, to protect their business and promote good customer service. We are fortunate to have the UK program lead as a co-presenter along with my colleague Claire Dartnell to deliver the sessions here in Kent, starting at the end of June.”
There are three modules in total covering a range of consumer issues relevant to small businesses, such as consumer rights and pre-contract information.
Each session covers one module and lasts 2 – 2.5 hours. They are low cost with the initial sessions being held at the Ashford Business Hub.
Business owners and managers can attend one or all three sessions which take place on 26 and 29 June and 3 July 2018.
